So yesterday after I packed all my **** to goto Vegas the truck decided she didnt want to start. First time shez ever done that and I was driving that day with no problem.

Anywayz....

Went thru a couple things and noticed I wasnt hearing my fuel prime... so I check a few more things and my ECM2 fuse was blown...

Replaced that and now she would turn over and barley idle, running really rough. If I pushed the gas she would die. I had my mind pretty much set that this morning I would have to drop the gas tank and start playing with things. But for the heack of it this morn I decided to try to start her up agian.

So what happens ofcourse?... yep she starts right up like nothing ever happened. Idles fine. Runs fine. WOT runs seem ok... and now Im lost at what happened.

I dont wanna get stuck agian... so what should I be checking? Could it be because I didnt reset the computer after I changed the fuse? Could it have been because it was so hot? yesterday was pretty warm and when I started her this morn it was alot cooler.....

Any help guys, I dont wanna get stuck agian...

BTW-... i missed out on all the hommies rolln up to vegas... I personally think its some kinda sign... I wasnt meant to go....

 

If you believe in anything upstairs, then its not that crazy of an idea. Though we never really find out why, you probably would have if you did. Its much easier to cope with crazy random incidents like that when you think, maybe I'm not supposed to go.

Now i dont do this often, but is interesting when you think about it. Since you can usually tell how recent an accident is/was just by looking at it, everytime you see a nasty accident, think about what you did for the previous hour, (stop to get food, or get gas, or take a ****), and it just reinforces how close we cut it, and are really on a thin line lol. Regardless of any belief or not, I think everyone can admit we cut it close at times.

Yeah so it sounds like a bunch of blabber, but hey, if you believe there's more to life than just what we see/hear/touch, then its really not that crazy.

But still... should I be changing my fuel pump?

 

Just change it you *****, what else could it be? If that isn't it, then at least you know the fuel pump will last at least another 80k miles.

i'd check everything else before even considering changing fuel pumps, its a total bitch

 

If the ECM fuse was blown then it is linked to that. Possibly a loose or frayed wire somewhere or maybe just a freak occurance. Also whenever I start my truck after unplugging the computer it runs like **** for a few minutes.

 

just remember "Finall Destination 2" if you havnt seen it than you should, gets you thinking
