Like the title says I want something thats quieter than what I currently have. This current setup is to loud for my personal taste and that of my neighbors lol. It came on a truck that I just aquired and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in swapping my exhaust plus some cash on yuor end. Its on an 05 chevy crew cab with the 5.3.

I would like as a replacement some other type of header with a catted Y pipe and a very quiet muffler

Stock manifolds and full exhaust if it came down to it. I am willing to sacrafice some performance to make this thing quiet.

Let me know what yall got.

I just saw a video of lts with a stock muffler. It was quiet, I would do just that. No reason to swap back to stock manifolds.

Ya stock muff is decently tame with an ORY.. what size is your magnaflow? is it dumped?

I am tired of my loud exhausts as well, I am re-doin my set up and puttin in the 20" dynomax super thrush instead of the 14" magnaflow and adding a E-cutout for when i want to sound like a stock car . We will see how much quieter it is.

if you still have the LT's then i have a set of ss shorty headers that il trade for yours, they are very nice there OBX

 

Thats my truck, Its not noticeable at all unless you have the windows down, and i kind of like the header noise it makes

 

i have stock manifolds and a flowmaster on mine what kind of headers are they and how much cash we talking if you want to trade i live 5 mins form baton rouge

i also have a stock muffler ill trade you for the magnaflow if your interested
