i believe in that year they only come out with a 4l60e trans instead of the 4l80

You need to make a 4L80E Conversion to make it work

I have a stock convertor... $50 + shipping... out of an 01 rollover with 70k miles. I just pulled apart the 4L80E, which I plan on keeping

, and the tranny parts are perfect... therfore I have confidence the T/C is too.
