The RR pulley is a bad mother ****** and well worth the money in my opinion. They are hard as hell to get a hold of but keep trying. I had to call one of their vendors (sells blower pulleys for mustangs) to get in touch with them.

Anyway, I've heard mixed reviews as far as sand blasting the pulleys. I've heard it works for about 5 minutes and then its junk.

Anyway, wish I could help you out but these are just too hard to come by. Here is a pic to tide you over till you get your own.

Not to start a **** fight, but blasting it works well.. Just curious, how it can or will ruin a pulley?? I could understand, MAYBE if you were running a extremely small pulley, but a 8 rib will stop that, if it is a D1 or bigger, you can run 12lbs NP on a 6rb with out slipping.. Just saying, 17x+ for one is a lil much other then them looking nice..

Na I'm not gonna argue about it either, and honestly I've never tried it so I can't give real world experience on here. I can say that KP (procharger god on ls1tech) told me that he tried it several times on his 8-rib D1sc and F1A f-body set ups and that it worked good for a few passes but once it slipped it glazed the ribs on the pulley and a belt would never grab it again until it was reblasted. His comment to me was that for the minimal benefit and potentially short life, it was more of a pain in the ***. I'm just passing this on, again I can't say that I have any experience with it.

I can say this, on my old 8-rib set up with heavy duty tensioner and RR pulley my D1sc made 23 psi of boost and never slipped the belt once. I had like 5 weekends straight (about 3-5 passes per weekend) of use on one belt and it made the same boost at any given rpm on every single pass. I could not have been more pleased.

lol, this has almost turned into a tech thread.

RR called me back yesterday, I ended buying one from them for $170 shipped. Procharger sells them for $90 + 65 and shipping to get machined from the guy at ebay , so $170 is not bad.
