Needed a DBW 05,06,07 PCM with
"service number" 12602801
(for 06 Silverado 1500 w/5.3 & 4l65E)

Got one $50.

I think I have one, I just bought a 2006 project truck that came with two pcms. I'll see if the numbers match tomorrow.

That number was also used for 2007 and could also have other engine size calibrations loaded onto it.

10-4 1FastBrick you are correctto mundo...That's why I did list the service no. I will reflash and tune the PCM to make sure what I need is in the "brain". I want a single turn of the switch first time start. (bet ridin on it)

Sorry, I ended up hurting my back and been stuck at my house in town. Im going to my other house in the country tomorrow and will look see what service number the pcm has on it.

Service number on the extra PCM that came with truck is 12589463. Whats different with the service number you posted both are 2006? I have a couple more pcm's in storage I'll check the service number on those tomorrow but I think they are from older vehicles.

Hey Miny...

So far I've had 3 "tuners" and another member here tell me to stick with Truck PCM #12602801 to minimize programing problems that can pop up with a non matched PCM.

I'm not smart enough to begin to understand PCM compatability issuses so I'm going to try to keep it simple.
