I've got a 5.3L ... I think that the LS1/LS6 intake manifold looks better under the hood. I know that the LS6 intake flows a little better, but honestly, I'm just wanting to do this for looks... does anyone have one of these sitting around that they're wanting to get rid of?

You know you have to change the acceries, like water pump, alt, etc.. The intakes sit alot lower.

 

I've been looking at going to an elect. water pump. although, I read somewhere that you can do a slight modification to the water pump and make it work.

 

I agree the ls1/ls6 stock intakes look better then any stock truck Intake. Good luck getting them to work for you! Did you find one yet?
