I am looking for an iron block (LQ4/LQ9). High mileage is fine (actually a plus to me), I just want a block that did not see any form of engine failure, and hasn't seen any machine work after GM assembled it at the factory. Preferably no other parts needed...I'll consider buying a complete LQ4 or LQ9, but I really only need/want a block.

I'm located in central MA, but I'll drive up to like 150-200 miles to pick up.

 

not to jack your thread, but where in MA? i'm up here in Rowley on the north shore. well actually i'm in boston at school right now, but Rowley is where i'm from.

 

I have a lq4 block and main caps aprx 20k miles with light rust in 2 cylinders, I was trying to sell for $550 shipped, It's a long way from here to there, so I'd need to check on with my freight company to be sure. Let me now.

Anybody else more local to me have one? I can get it brand new from GM for $680 at my local dealer...I'm trying to find one thats already been heat cycled a bunch though.
