WTB: Complete long block 4.8/5.3/6.0 also I'm looking for another truck
Motor:
Must be complete from valley/valve covers to pan. No missing bolts or broken ****. Prefer it to be in running condition but will consider those with mechanical problems for the right price. Must be a 24x reluctor.
I'm in Pearland (South of Houston) but I drive all over East Texas on a daily basis for work. I'm very flexible with my driving and am willing to pick up. Looking to spend no more than $500 but will consider others depending on details.
Truck:
I'm looking for a truck for my Dad. Here is what he wants, and I'll be paying cash (no need to worry about financing bull ****):
99-06 Single Cab Short bed 1/2 ton 2wd V8 GMC or Chevy (preferably 5.3 but 4.8 will work)
Preferably less than 100k miles (will consider more depending on how nice the truck is)
Truck must be relatively stock (no dropped trucks)
Must be in good running conditions with no major mechanical issues or body damage/rust.
Just looking for a nice reliable daily driver.
No salvage titles and a clean carfax is a plus

got a 2005 5.3 out of my yukon complete long block! ran great! just high miles 155,000 mi. didnt burn oil & no motor noise! just replaced with a 6.0! also have accesory bracket, intake & all sensors! $450 & half ship!

I would sell my 4.8 out of my 03 has p/p heads n cam but I do have the stock heads and cam for it still. $500 stock $1000 with heads/cam. Has 87k miles heads/cam has only been on for about 500 miles. I have everything for it from the stock intake box to oil pan- exhaust manifolds. its still in my truck u can hear it run and drive it.
