Default <<wtb coils & spark plug wires for 5.3>>

WTB GOOD coils and wires for my 5.3. ALSO CAN I USE JUST ABOUT ANY COILS FROM A LS MOTOR. IM NEW TO THIS MOTOR AND NEED TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO FOR THIS TUNE UP. I FIGURED COILS, WIRES, PLUGS, OIL CHANGE, AIR FILTER. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I DO TO IT

if you are just doing a tune up you don't need to replace the coils unless you think you got a bad one.

how about wires, and whats the best plug to run on my 5.3, and gap????

which coils do you have there are two types I bought some on here and they are the wrong type so if you want them just give me what i paid and they are yours.

if it is a stock engine most are using the ngk tr55 plugs and as far as wires go I have used stockers and high dollar and there seems to be no difference get a new set of ac delco and be done with it.

i have the coils mounted on the brackets, with electrical, as well as a set of plugs and wires, with 60,xxx miles on em. 100 shipped.

go to autostone, you can get a brand new pair for 100 bucks...
a good way to tune up is new oil, filter, air filter, plugs, wires, and a can of seafoam.
i disagree with your choice of plugs terravast. i've asked several people, including outlaw class guys, shops, tuners, and dealership employees and they all say that the delco iridium is the best plug for ls motors. part number 41-110 i believe. and the stocker plug wires seem to work better than most as well.
btw the ls1 and ls3 use the same style coils as the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0. the ls2 and ls7 are different
