WTB: Cam Swap Parts
#1
Looking for cam swap parts for my 05' 4.8 Sierra.
Looking for:
--Yellow LS6 springs
--ls2 timing chain
--comp 7.4 hardened pushrods
--New balancer bolt, and all necessary gaskets (may just end up buying the GM cam swap kit for the gaskets and bolt)
Post up or shoot me a PM w/ what you have. Figure it was worth a shot to post this up before I bought all this new.

I'm about to do a cam swap and I got this:
LS2 timing chain
Valve stem seals (intake + exhaust)
LS6 springs
Oil pump
is there anything else I should get? No one ever recommended that I get a timing cover gasket, or water pump gaskets or crank bolt and seal or valve cover gasket. Are these things I didn't get just things incase the original seals break?

like i said above, get the H2O gaskets for sure as they are very cheap and theres no point in not replacing them. def get a new crank bolt. as for all the other gaskets there all reuseable (minus head gasket but you dont need that anyways)

I get the following
Valve seals
springs
push rods
crank bolt
water pump gaskets
dowel rods for the lifters
cam
LS2 chain
optional
oil pump(you will need a new pick up tube o-ring)
timing set

I have never bought new gaskets only the crank bolt
done a few dozen swaps this way and I have never had a problem

gm sells a cam swap kit. forgot the part # but its in the perf parts cat.
goto the counter and get all the stuff you need. a set of springs is real cheap and they are new. the kit has all the gaskets.
