wtb 5.3 starter will 6.0 starter work?

Need starter eBay sells new 6.0 starter cheap will it fit? Thanks

Something is different about them.. The 6.0 starter I tried on my 6.0 would hit the flex plate or wouldn't touch the flex plate I can't remember,but I had to use the 4.8 starter.

I've been through 3 engines, one 5.3L and two 6.0L...same starter everytime I swap

99-00/01 had the longer crank like Atomic said. Could have been the issue.
