I am putting an LS1 in my Samurai and I have the motor, and cam. I need some heads. I am using a 212/218 hi lift Comp cam, so I will need some springs that are good to .580 lift atleast so stock LS6 springs will work. I have some 22 inch wheels listed on here and a lowering kit for a Tahoe, Yukon, or Avy that I would trade for or towards some heads.

 

how big of a hurry are you in. when i get these prc's i'll have some 317's with patriot golds on them.

 

I am not in a super big hurry but the 317s have a 71 cc chamber and would drop the cr too much I am afraid unless I had them milled. I was talking with a friend yesterday and the amount I would have to mill the heads I am afraid would cause intake manifold clearence issues. I will however look to see exactly what me CR would be stock and with the 317s. I will let you know if they will work.

 

just let me know. i know you can mill .040 off without any issues cause i have done it. i believe you can actually go almost .050. the furthest i have heard anyone go is .045.

 

i have some ls6 799s they are the same as 243s....and mine are milled 30 thousands over and have 921 springs...

 

Ill have some prc 5.3 heads with double springs up for sale soon
