there is a problem fitting the drive by wire trucks but it can be done 1 of 2 ways.

1) take a hammer to the firewall to make the tb fit over there. look at my pics to see what i mean. the tb gets relocated very close to the firewall on the pass side. the dbw tb is much bigger so, you'll need to make room. ask bigtex how he did it.

2) buy the tb elbow and new intake tube from whipple for about $300. no hammer needed, lol.

Either way, this is still a smokin deal. I am actually thinking of selling my ford ranger for a cheaper 99-up silverado/sierra and just keeping the whipple.

 

so this will work for a 5.3l right? includes all bolts, brackets, hoses, etc? just need 43lbs injectors and a tune? thanks.
