Default Want a built trans??

I've got a well built 4L65E that needs 3/4 clutches and just a refresh. Lots of upgraded hard parts, valve body work etc... It will drive normally and hold all gears until it gets warm then loses 3rd and 4th... Fluid is not burnt.

I will sell outright but, I'm really looking for a stock (or close to it) trans for my 01 reg cab V6 truck. This would be an easy/cheap way for someone to upgrade.

So your stock, non abused trans in good shape for my well built unit, that needs a 3/4 clutch...

For the sake of forum rules, I'd like to get say $700??? For it? Make an offer.

Are you interested in swapping? Lol I can probably dig thru my toolbox and find all the receipts and invoices for the parts in this thing so at least you'd have some good idea. I used the parts list from basically a higher end FLT build, it's got hardened shafts, not billet.

Are you positive yours is a 65? I see a GMT900 in your signature... Could possibly be a 70E, which is not really a 1:1 swap

Huh, I thought the 4l70s came in the vmax trucks only? How would I identify a 4l70 vs 4l65?

4l70 came in tbss as well as some other vehicles. Differences:
ISS speed sensor
Stronger 5 pinion planetaries.
Bearing style reaction carrier, rather than thrust washer.

Look in glovebox for RPO code.

M32 is a 4L65E
M70 is a 4L70E

The 4L70 will go right in silver-mod-o's truck. RS/SS needs a front input sensor (4L70E) or you will have a check engine light if you install the older 4L65E.
