Turbo & 6.0 engine combo (800hp)
#1
Well guys, here is a chance to save some coin and just drop it in your late model truck and run 11's or 12's depending on your weight and traction. (you'll need a stout tranny!)
The bottom line is I am no longer going to keep feeding my awd truck trannies, and with 2 other vehicles capable of running in the 9's & 10's, I'd like to get my truck back to a 400hp tow machine.
The LQ4 6.0 has forged internals with a cr of 8.75, 1.85 slp rockers, mildly ported stock heads, and about 15,000 miles on this build. The single turbo setup has a big intercooler, an adjustable boost valve to run from 6lbs to 20lbs+ and has been on the truck for about 10 months, and 4,000 miles. The custom exhaust that fits my 01 C3 ext cab truck will come with the unit. You can have a mild truck for everyday use, or a wild ride that has pushed this 5300lb truck to a 12.4 @ 109+ mph.
This engine has seen probably 50+ passes at the track before the turbo setup, and possibly half of that since.
I plan of repairing the broken 4L65e tranny one more time, so that anyone interested could actually drive the truck first. It will be located in the Phoenix, Az area. My contact # is 928-367-1453 The shop that built the turbo could give you more info on it. Doug @ 480-961-8704
I will sell just the turbo setup for $6000. I will sell the engine and turbo for $9500. I MAY take a trade of a decent running stock 6.0 for a $1500 credit.
If interested you can email me at dbs1@wmonline.com or the ph # listed above. Thx!

Probably would help to have some more specifics on the turbo kit like what size turbo, intercooler brand, if its a custom kit or one off kit, does it use cast manifolds or tubular headers, and pictures.

I would love to give you pics, but the truck is now down at the tranny shop. As listed in the add, if you are serious you can call the shop that built the turbo and ask specifics. It was a custom build including the tubular exhaust.
For pics you can try going to Denalli Trucks.com, hit gallery, then member albums, then go to dbs1, click on the pics and that should get you to several pics of the engine compartment.
Thx!
In regards to trades-I'm open to SOME trades, but unfortunately, it would have to be done at the shop I use in the Phx, Az area. That's a good thing, as they would make sure that both parties vehicles work the way they should, and everyone goes away a happy camper. Installs would be the responsibility of each respective party.
