Sylvania Silverstar Ultra 9005 (hi-beam) bulbs, pair, maybe a total of 1 minute of on time, replaced with HID's. $25 shipped

03-06 lightly tinted OEM tail lights. These have been modified to fit 99-02 sockets but should still fit 03-06 sockets. Also comes with the side marker bulbs and sockets for 99-02, you just need to connect the wires, it's very easy. They were tinted with VHT night shades, which is very hard to get an even light coat, so if you look very closely you can see spots, but it's not noticeable unless you look from less than a foot away. They were also clear coated, wet sanded, buffed, and polished for a glossy finish. I will buff and polish them again before shipping. No broken tabs or cracks. I will include the 3rd brake light for free if you want, but it did not come out very well because the plastic was well aged from the sun, it should be redone. $110 shipped.

What exactly was modified on the tail lights? Any pics?

 

The sockets for the bulbs are different on 99-02 than 03-06. I think only one or two of them needed modding, not all three. All I did was widen the grooves in the lights where the sockets push in and twist. Its a simple mod. Then I added the side marker bulbs so you can use them on 99-02 trucks.
