I bought this helmet about 1.5 yrs ago because my truck finally got into the 13's but have stopped drag racing and have only worn the helmet 3 times, only HRP in baytown ever required me to race with one..

It was custom airbrushed by a friend who didn't assemble it all the way, the foam cushion on the inside of the helmet just needs to be hot glued in, and the 2 black aerodynamic air ports on top just need to be hot glued on.. i have all the parts neccasary
I has my name airbrushed on the front but this could be easily removed with a little sand paper and another coat of clear on the front mouth piece..

it also comes with a helmet sleeve to protect the helmet while inside the simpson racing bag, 2 diffrent size cushions to fit diffrent facial sizes, those have never been used..

all of this new cost me about $260.00 from jegs

nice so why did you stop racing after doing all that work

 

got bored with it.. to get any faster it was going to cost tens of thousands for me to get any faster.. i ran out of cheap mods under 5k to do... and to me it just wasnt worth tearing up my daily driver .. i set a goal to have a 12 second truck and got it so i feel i accomplished what i set out to do..

now im spending about 14k on competition stereo equipment,lol
