I have a bose system out of my 2003 Silverado SS. It will come with the Bose 6 disk changer headunit, Bose amp, two 6.5" door speakers, and two 4X6 rear door speakers. I also have a stock exhaust tip from a 2003 Silverado SS, a stock airbox from a 2003 Silverado SS, and a 5.7L (Vortec) motor out of a 1997 Silverado. I got the motor from a friend about 2 years ago. Its taking up room and it has got to go. The motor was pulled because he had other plans for his truck. It did run at the time he pulled it. I had it covered in my garage the whole time. I was planning on going through it and replacing the seals and so forth. I do have it in a box at the moment ready for shipping. I would prefer to not ship it, but I will if I have to. I don't want to split everything up. If nobody is interested in the whole Bose package I will sell just the headunit then.

 

Does the BCM have to be reprogrammed to change from a CD/Radio to the Bose unit?

 

From what I've heard, you should be able to take it to a dealership and they can do it for you.
