both the star and emblem come off. held on by a few tiny bolts and nuts

sorry man but one more thing. does it cover the chrome on the grille shell or does it mount on the inside? im going to run it by my dad and see if he likes it. THANKS!!

Im pretty sure it goes on the inside...like i said i never attempted to install but you might be able to look at rbp.com
