Quick change LS2 timing cover
#22
Ok Jake, clearly you aren't a serious legitimate seller here. Otherwise you would address my questions directly and either ship the QTP timing cover I paid you for on the 8th of April or you would refund my $75. I've given you plenty of opportunities to do whichever you choose and you've done neither. Im done dealing with you directly.

Moderators: I'm happy to provide screen captures of PMs and other evidence to support what I'll lay out for you below. My hope is that you can keep this guy from scamming anyone else on this board:
1. On Friday April 8th I PM'd Sloop about his QTP timing cover he has listed for sale in this thread. We agreed upon a price of $75 shipped. He asked me to send the money via friends and family, otherwise he wouldn't be able to access the funds for 21 days and pointed to his positive trader rating as evidence that he wouldn't "screw" me.
2. Foolishly I trusted him man to man and sent the $75 via friends and family over PayPal. Yes, that was my mistake.
3. Sloop responded that the timing cover would be shipped on Saturday the 9th of April.
4. On Tuesday the 12th of April I PM'd him to ask for shipping information. He responded and indicated that it was all packed up and would be shipped tomorrow (meaning Wednesday the 13th of April).
5. I PM'd Sloop on Friday the 15th of April asking for shipping or tracking information. He ignored this PM despite having been active online Saturday the 16th.
6. On Saturday the 16th of April my good friend Billy (twistedchevy) PM'd Sloop and asked if they timing cover was still available. He did this for me because I was obviously concerned I was being scammed. My suspicions were later justified by Sloops response to twistedchevy.
7. On Sunday the 16th of April I addressed sloop openly in this thread and asked him to either provide tracking info or refund my $75. He responded in here for me to check my PMs. He had PM' me the UPSP tracking number I posted above and said I would have the timing cover by Wednesday (April 20th).
8. Exactly one minute after sending me this USPS tracking, he responded to twistedchevy's PM and offered to sell him the timing cover for $120 shipped. When twistedchevy asked him if it was the same QTP cover or a second one, Sloop responded that I had backed out of the deal. Clearly I hadn't as he still has my $75.
9. As is visible above, on Monday 18 April I posted in here and asked Sloop to please ship the cover or refund my money. You can see the nonsense replies from him above that don't provide any evidence of shipping or any promise to refund my money.
I'll never understand why some people believe they deserve another person's hard earned money more than the person who worked for it. Please make sure he can't take advantage of anyone else on this board. Thanks - Gary

It should come as no surprise that this guy still hasn't addressed this, despite being online here every day since this was posted. He still has my money and still hasn't shipped my part. He has other active for sale threads on here. Isn't it about time to make this guy go away before he scams another member?
