Thumbs up Precision 9.5'' 5 disk $650.00

This is a 9.5'' Precision 5 disk vigilante converter for 4L80E rated at 3200RPM stall. $650.00 + half of the shipping. I bought this converter from Spoolin. It was in great shape and very clean when I recieved it, and is in great shape now. My transmission is in very good shape, and fluid is bright red. This converter is very streetable, and the clutch locks up really well. The converter just flashes too high for me under boost, and I can't get any traction. I can't rember how many miles Julin put on the converter but I think it was less than 2K, and I have less than a 1K on it.

This forum won't let me into the old posts to find out. Someone is really ******* things up around here, I see why people are getting pissed off.

ok, becuase I read that PI recommends adding a spring in the pump somewhere, and this was leading me away from a PI , because I really don't want to screw around with the pump and mess something up.

does that converter chatter when it locks up? towing capability?

It locks very firm, there is no slip or chatter to it. I don't know about towing capacity you might want to call precision on that.

WTF is up with this forum? The only way I can get into it is from my link on LS1tech, and I can only quick reply. I can't even see the forum.

Just heard from Julian, and he put less than 2000 miles on the converter, so it has less than 3K total.

Is it cut for a 4l60e flexplate (3 bolts)?

Also, could you tell me about the daily driving characteristics of this converter. Never driven a stalled vehicle before. How much rpms does it take to get going from a stop to keep up with normal traffic? How much different is it going to be than the stock stall under normal driving? Thanks and I hope you can access the site easily soon.
