looking for a positrac limited slip or a locker for a chevy 8.5 10 bolt going in an 82 silverado, thanks

I have the POWERTRAX posi unit and i have been pretty happy with the strength of it. The only thing i don't like about it is the clunking when i take tight corners on asphalt at like 5 mph since it is a ratchet type locker. I think they run from $300-500.

I agree with looking at he Powertrax No-Slip. I have one in my 03 and it's a true locker, no clutches to wear. You can install it yourself without any real knowledge of differentials and you won't have to worry about setting backlash and that stuff.
