Default New Era Whipple duplicate

For sale: 08 4.8 with complete duplicate of New Era's Whipple system as installed on Mikes's truck. I purchased a complete kit from New Era that duplicates their truck to the 14psi level. Complete Whipple kit, DOD delete kit with LS7 lifters, springs, retainers, valley cover, front cover, timing chain set, ARP head bols, PRW waterpump, Nick Williams 102mm dbw throttle body and New Era's custom cam for this aplication, LS7 head gaskets, wideband, remote tuning kit, Alky meth kit for this application, base tune and tune development, New Era custom intake for this application, Injector Dynamics ID725 injectors.

The system is installed on a 29k mile 4.8 with 58 tooth wheel and factory 243 heads. All DOD delete, cam and head gasket items are installed and ready to run. Engine has new dumbbell and shimmed factory oil pump with new o-ring. Kit includes crank pinning kit and I can do this for the buyer if desired. Engine also has new oil pressure sensor and new knock sensors.

I bought this kit for my 2012 crew cab Z71 wheelchair truck. I intended to swap the engines so as to keep the original as a spare. Due to the nearly 8000lb weight of my truck I fear I will destroy the transmission if I install it. I will crate and ship at the buyers exspense. I am asking $9500. Which is less than my cost. Please note this complete kit is brand new.

I really doubt your truck weighs that unless its a 2500HD. If its a 1500 yours probably weighs less than 6. why not just spend 2k to go with a built 80e?

Put this thing up for sale on pro-touring.com

Probably get a lot more offers there.

Just a suggestion...

My truck had a stock weight of about 5400lbs. The conversion heavily modifies the cab structure including lowering the floor. This is to accomodate the mechanism under the rear seat that telescopes both drivers doors(welded together with a 5\16" plate covering both doors) out about 3 feet. Then another acuator lowers a 30"×48" platform of 5/16" plate onto which I back my powerchair. Trust me when I estimate 8000 pounds. I simply need the truck to be absolutely reliable and question the stock 6L80E and my heavy foot.

Thanks for the suggestion!
