I have a complete 5.3 from an 07 new body style yukon unknown milage asking $750 this is a D.O.D motor I have all the stuff to delete it for an extra $300 Located in Acworth, GA local pick up only

 

pull the valve cover an take a picture of the head..itll show a discolor in the head if its a higher mileage motor 50k+ unless the person who owned it before took very good care of it.

where'd you get the engine from?

 

The motor came fron a junk yard I was going to swap it in to an s10 but have lost intrest

dod shuts 4 cyl down to "save gas" but thats bs youd have to be going down hill bc when i had it on my 08 i was never in 4cyl mode

it cant handle a cam swap either

 

It can but you have to change the lifters which is probably what the OP was referring to.

 

What parts do you have for the DOD delete? I might be interested.
