since its all gone, i will hijack....

did they ever find a fix for the brakes before you sold your truck? I think I am starting to have problems. It sucks, my 05 was problem free.

Nope, they never fixed it. They said that was normal.
GM uses low quality rear drum components. The same cheap crap is even on the new trucks.....
Sorry, but you will never resolve the rear braking issues unless you convert to disc.
