hey guys, so I had these heads at the shop here for a personal project. I ran them for a few thousands miles on an LQ9. I then went to LS3 heads and a TVS. A friend of mine who had a 11'5.3 (flat top pistons, wont work on NBS 5.3's unless you want no compression or you cut them down, quite a bit). I took them to our engine builders shop, who does all our porting work with all the right equipment (been doing it 40 years) hes known around here as kind of an LS legend engine builder.

Anyways, I sent them to him. He said they were basically flat, like .001" was the highest runout. I had him deck them just enough to flatten them for certain, CC is still 65cc. I also had him hot tank them, media blast them, and do a full valve job to make them good as a new set. You can see in the pics, if I told you they hadn't ever been installed, youd believe me lol. SO why am I selling them? We decided to go all out on his truck, LSA long block and blower. So I no longer need them at this time.

Here are the head details-
- 243 Castings, LS2 (not LS6- only difference is intake valves)
- I purchased them from GMPP a few years back new, we cleaned the CNC machine tracks up a tad. These heads look GREAT.
- Comes with yellow LS6/LS2 springs that rate to .550" lift. I will change them to anything youd like, at your request, no labor charge.
- I give my word these heads are perfect. We have been a long standing business for decades in S. Florida.

With intake, exhaust and 243 heads (no tune) what kinda hp/tq increase over a stock LQ9 would take place?
