I have a used set of heads from an 01' 5.3L, center bolt, with about 70K on them. They were removed from an engine with lower end damage. I do not know the condition or overall health other than the fact that I took them off the original motor.
They are complete with the valves, springs, and retainers. No covers. There is a good post on all the LS1 heads, including the 862's, in the Internal section of this site.

that's a bad *** price for anyone wanting to do a set of PP heads for their 4.8/5.3....they can be easily moded to accept the stock 2" intake valve of the LS1 heads also for some more flow.
