I'm taking it to work with me tomorrow, and washing it in the parts washer. So, it'll be in like-new condition.

Will this work as just a rear end cover. I'm not to familiar with these. Are the bolt holes in the middle for a locker like a trutrac? Does it hole more gear oil than a stock one?

It helps strengthen the rearend. You also screw the bolts in to help preload the bearings caps.
