Is this a direct swap from a 60e? What kind of hp should this handle?

Yes sir it will directly replace any 60/65or 70e 99 and up. Not sure on torque capacity, you'd have to ask FLT. My personal opinion is that this is a perfect match for a built N/A engine or if boosted, low boost levels(6#ish) only. This is FLT's strongest 60/65/70e. I may be under estimating its capabilities but I personally prefer an 80e for anything really heavy or at power levels exceeding 600hp.

I'll be shooting for 600-700rwhp..

However I do drive like a grandpa most of the time and the truck will NOT see a drag strip so this transmission might be fine.. HMMM...........

i need a tranny .. more specifically i want this one ... just broke mine last night .. if i had the cash i wud drive today n get it off ur hands and into my Sierra ....... This is a good deal people, I have the level 6 with my heavy truck and me beating the poop out of it everytime I drive it.
the level 7 has billet input and output shafts
