I thought those units were vin locked to the vehicle!!

thanks slvrsierra, appreciate it. and no, theyre not vin locked, ive seen a lot of people sell these when they came out of their truck, and ive seen no problems.

No Prob man......BADFNZ-383 is correct they are not vinlocked. A simple reprogram is all that is required.

I have the bose system and onstar and all that stuff. Would it work for me?

yea if you already have the bose system, there is no extra parts or wiring necessary, from what i understand
