yes you can use your stock springs.
I would not use them with stock pushrods though if you use the Guide plates.
It will chew the stock ones up.
a new set of hardened push rods should be somewhere around $90.
thats what I paid for my comp magnum push rods.
you will gain somewhere between 5-10 HP with the arms.
lets the motor rev up a little quicker, and rev down quicker also, because of the roller action.
I had them on my stock springs, and no problems.
