Default considering selling 1000+rwhp twin set up.

i really want to build a garage and it is going to take me a year of saving for it before i can even start. i thought i would see if i can sell my twin set up at a modest profit to help fund it. then when i get in the new garage i can make it over again.

i am not looking to give it away so if no one wants it for what i am asking that is ok, i will just keep it. i did a quick list of what it cost me and it looks like i am into the kit for about $8000 in just parts. i would like $10k+ shipping for the kit.

here is a pile of pics of the kit going together http://www.neufamily.org/images/turb...lery/index.htm

i will find a dyno and post it up.

here is a list of the major parts.

twin precision gts70 turbos with .83 ar's
twin tial 44mm wg's with vband clamps and 10 psi springs
twin turbonetics rapot bov's
100% stainless headers, down pipes, charge pipes and exhaust system. all vband clamps
large twin air to water intercooler
water pump
silicone couplings and t bolt clamps
crank case evac valve
turbo blankets
one short plug wire with sleve
4" charge pipe set up for vic jr intake
2 4" rubber elbows going to air filters
2 large air filters
oil feed lines and drain lines

this kit will come with full stainless exhaust, oil feed lines and drain lines other than fittings in the pan, intercooler with mounting bracets, pump with hoses but no heat exchanger.

the up pipe is set up for the vic jr intake. tb and intake are NOT included.

there are a couple of things i never did go back and do on the kit. i welded in some cut outs on the down pipes but neve did make nice blank off plates. the flanges that go into the turbos from the header have a hole that is a little on the small side, they could use a little porting to improve flow. something like this http://www.neufamily.org/images/fair...2007%20005.jpg

the pics will answer most questions. a relocated battery and that red power box under the hood will need to be moved. i think the main harness across the drivers side turbo would be ok with just a stand off bracket. those turbo blankes are amazing. down pipes are wraped. 02 bung is welded in. i have had no issues what so ever with this kit in about 5000miles of driving and quite a few runs. with these turbos there should be 1500rwhp on tap.

here is a dyno chart at 16psi and 21psi. these turbos are good for 30+psi and 1500+rwhp.

That looks just about what I'm working on (the building, not the twins). 30x40 with two 10' roll up doors. Hope to have the pad put down here in the next week or two.

morten buildings, astro buildings are local so i would probably have them make me something.

the question is how big can i afford. i could do a 30x30 in no time but i have room for up to a 30x55 or maybe even a little larger but if i did that it would cost quite a bit more and might not ever get done. probably end up with something like a 30x30. i priced the one below exactly as pictured and it was $15,500 installed with a floor.

Morton and Wick both have nice buildings. Wick was alot more affordable when my dad built his. My grandpa even went with Wick!

I agree, that price sounds good. I'm looking at over $12 in concrete (30x40 pad and extended driveway). The building I'm looking at is almost $12K itself, but thats decked out with windows, doors, upgraded painted panels, insulation, etc...
