I went to a much larger cam is the reason its for sale. it just wasn't enough cam for the stroker. with the 114+4 lsa it will idle very nice. i got it to idle in the 800 rpm range.

here is a vid of it idleing

Would you think it could idle in a 6.0 at 800 RPM as well? I know the 408's longer stroke can mask idle problems compared to the shorter stroke engines... Was it hard to make it idle right, i.e. lots of tuning, or was it rather basic? What all did you have to change to make it idle? Any tuning help if I purchased it? I have HPT... I'm just getting started with HPT, but I have used tuning programs in the past for OBD-I and Ford OBD-I and OBD-II vehicles, so I will know the basics...

Also, what's the base circle of this cam? Pushrods required? If so, what length?

it would idle pretty good since it has the 114+4 lsa. It wasnt real hard to make it idle. I just had to adjust the ve table and idle speed untill it was right. I ran a stock rockers, pushrods, and lifters with this cam. You will need some springs that is strong enough for the lift.
