Default Callies Compstar ls1 Crank BRAND NEW IN BOX

Compstar Crankshafts are a great value for the budget minded racer or high performance street enthusiast. These cranks are designed by our engineers, and rough machined to our specification on 4340 material forgings overseas. All finish work and quality control operations are performed in our facility.

Our in house solid modeling abilities provide a great advantage in product development. Starting with a clean sheet of paper, Callies design engineers created forging dies that result in a near net forging. Beginning with properly placed counterweights that not only improve balance but reduce bearing loads, every aspect of these highly stressed components has been analyzed. Our forgings are rough machined in a process that includes double stress relief operations that make these crankshafts dimensionally stable.

Compstar cranks are deep nitride hardened, and are ideal for abusive dirt track environments. All rod journals are drilled and counterweights are profiled for piston clearance. With our consistent grind and polish, along with our precise stroke and index, we feel that these are the best value based crankshafts on the market.

I have a Scat right now, but I spun a rod bearing. If I can save my crank I am going to, but if not, I'll shoot you an email. I like the dragonslayer cranks, but I'm in a pinch.
