I have a 5.3 out of 2002 Silverado Z71. The number 8 piston rings were burnt up so it was burning oil very bad and was pulled from the truck and replaced with a 6.0 out a Cadillac EXT. The motor was running when pulled form the truck and it seemed to be solid other than it burning oil like a 2 cycle engine. It's been sitting outside for the past few years so the engine has weathering on it so the block is gonna need machining and new pistons definately. I want 500 dollars for it or best offer. I'd like for it to be a pick up only here in Gainesville but I'm willing to do whatever. I really need to get rid of this motor so I can get it out of the garage and I could use the extra cash.
