I have a 5.3 iron block out of a 2002 1500 4wd. It burnt up a rod bearing with about 20,000 miles on it and my buddy paid the up charge at the Dealership and had them put LQ4 parts in it converting it to a 6.0. The truck was later sank in a mud hole where it sucked up water and burnt up what I think is the number 8 piston ring. The motor has been sitting for several years now but was running when pulled out of the truck. It's going to need to be re-built and the heads will need to be cleaned up and maybe new valve's as well. I'm wanting 500 dollars for everything and it's a pick up only.
