ARP 234-4316 Head Studs SE, Michigan
#1
I have a ARP head stud kit 234-4316 I used for 2000 miles on my boosted 5.3. I now have a 6.0 with different studs so I have no use for these. Everything in the kit is complete however to be 100% honest it is missing one of the very small upper studs. You can buy a replacement stud and nut if you desire... But Truthfully, in my set up, this small stud was replaced with a GM head bolt and really had no effect on the overall clamping force. This set of studs took my 5.3 to 850hp for 2000 miles before it spun a rod bearing, when we took the heads off the gaskets were perfect. lol Yes, the GM head bolt comes with it.
Everything disclosed, this is still a great buy. These are $340 a set new. Im asking $175 and buyer pays the ride.
Call Justin 734-658-2124 with any questions.
Pro series cylinder head studs from ARP are cold-forged to ensure molecular integrity. They are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are rated at a whopping 200,000 psi for the 8740 material and 220,000 psi for ARP2000. ARP Pro series kits are also available with 12-point nuts, and all kits come complete with hardened parallel washers for an even load distribution and accurate torque readings
