Anyone know how to put a drop on a truck?

Hey silvette02 I am in Huntersville, glad to know there is another truck guy near by. I just got done last night doing my 2/4, and the rivets on the stock hangers are a pain, we had to move the gas tank and then grind off the rivets and then punch them out with the air chisel. Takes a long time. but now it looks good, and wheels and grille are on the way...

Second of all lift you truck from the frame on either side depending on witch side your doing first, and simply take off the ball joint, after you take off the nut on the ball joint youll probably need a pickle fork cause it's kind of tricky taking it out other wise and youll probably even need some new greese holders cause you will probably tare them up. After you do that it's simple if you have springs just let the arm fall right down and the spring should pop right out, oh by the way you might want to put onother floor jack under the arm so that the spring dont shoot it down. And if you have a arms you take off the rear two bolt's and it comes right off.
know for the back thats the pain in the *** like they said before, the shackes are no biggy, but taking off the stock hangers is a B---h on my first truck I had to use a torch to remove the rivets all though I don't recomend it especially on the gas tank side its danegerauos. And then putting the bolt's back on the knew hanger is also kind of tricky, it's easier if you just take off the hole bed that's what we had to end up doing.
