It is, it's a syty t-case, but it could easily be mated to a 4wd t-case with the right adapter. It also shows you that it CAN be done. There are a few setups like this in the syty world.

it's not a question of can it be done but is it worth it? look at the add he had a completely new rear tail housing machined and also said he has over 6k into it which I can believe. the easier way is to run a divoriced transfer case.

Yeah, I think they cut off or machine off the original flange and part of the tail housing, and then they weld a plate to it. I'm not sure what they do about the output shaft, but a custom coupler should be pretty cheap. His clutch setup alone is probably around 1500, plus another 1500 for the trans. Add in the t-case, shifter, custom brace...yeah 6 grand doesn't sound too far off.

looks like a good setup for the less than 4500lb trucks. get too heavy and I think you would be eating trans parts like candy.
