I have a brand new Silverado tailgate (unpainted and still in original box) for 99-up trucks.. All it has is the shell and no hardware or latch. I will let it go for $50 plus shipping..

 

My cables broke on mine and bent the bottom corners. But i put new hinges on it, i can live with 2 small bent corners...

This is for a fleetside right? I think im going to have to take this off your hands for my 06 crewcab!

I want to have it shaved and swapped onto my truck. Would it be hard to switch the hardware from mine over to this one once its shaved?

No, this is for a regular standard side truck. I dont think it will fit on a fleetside (by this I think you mean something similar to the stepside).

 

Fleetside is the straight side truck like mine and the one you are referring to. Stepside is the one with the steps and the more narrow tailgate.

This one will fit my truck.
