Hey Tom, can you get me the measurements from the ground to the bottom of the frame or the bottom of the bumper, whichever is higher. This is for legal reasons in my state. Also, why are you getting rid of it and hows the ride? Any cutting or welding involved or easy bolt on?? Interested if within specs of our state law and no welding. Thanks
BTW its for a friend of mine with a 03 2500HD

I'll get some measurements for you today. The laws down there can't be any worst than my state. I found a site a few months ago that listed the height restrictions for each state. Most only had a paragraph while MA was a page long. The measurements at the bottom of the fenders is 47.5" up front and 49" in the rear. The front was a little higher but I lowered it a little.
The ride is good if you don't crank the torsion bars. I cranked mine up and installed a set of "Green keys" to get a little extra height. That made the ride pretty firm. I'm going with a lift that is just a little higher so I don't have to crank as much to get the current height. A little cutting will be needed on the differential.
Thanks,
Tom

I might be interested in the lift kit. I have a question though, what is the difference in suspensions on a HD truck and my 1999 2500. I would really like enough lift to run 35's.
