This is a 2001 with aluminum heads. $900 plus shipping

 

Is there anything wrong with this motor or anything? I could quite possible be interested. Pictures would also help.

And like 72Firebird asked, anything wrong with the motor? Mileage? Complete or long block?

 

i'll be third in line here. but give us the low down on the motor.

 

4th in line, willing to come pick it up, and would like to know info on engine as well.

 

It's a long block, service pull. I tore it down and it's in good shape. I suspect it was pulled due to that start up rattle that so many of them have. The heads are straight and everything looks good. I was gonna put a set of forged pistons in it,balance the rotating assembly, new bearings, work the heads and go to town. I broke my tranny and rear end at the track last Friday and I need some money to put the truck back together. Allen is about 25 miles north of Dallas on I75.

 

so, you gonna get rid of it or what? i could come up there and get it this weekend or next week.
