I have a 2000 LM7 5.3l shortblock (rotating assembly installed), matching 706 cylinder heads and OEM cam with 65k miles for sale. Block and bore look very good. No ridges in cyclinders and it had 160-170 compression in all cyclinders before I broke it down to a shortblock and heads. The 3rd photo shows the timing chain installed but it is not included. It will make a great low-cost replacement for a tired 4.8 or 5.3 truck. Price Drop $300 obo.

The engine is located about 15 minutes east of San Francisco. Local pickup is preferred but I will ship at buyers expense. Buyer is responsible for getting shipping quote from 94549 but I will palletize and drop off at a loading dock at no charge.

Anybody need an inexpensive, perfectly good 5.3l shortblock to replace their tired, worn-out, delapidated, burns-a-quart-of-oil-a-tank 4.8l or 5.3l? :-)
