Just ordered a 402 Stroker shortblock from Texas Speed and a set of AFR 225heads with a Fast 92mm and TB for the Silverado (AKA Sportside).
Will be selling my iron block 5.3 with 320+ rwhp, new 220 cam, Zo6 heads, new lifters, timing chain, pushrods and a ported intake from Ed Curtis @ FlowTech Induction Systems. Motor is tuned and runs 12.8 in the 1/4 mile at 105 mph. $1500 and ready to drop in your truck.

My Vette stays broke down (just killed the ring and pinion) and too hard to work on so I am switching over to the truck for my racing.

Yeah, the 5.3. We saw a test on the ported stock truck intake being almost identical in flow with the LS6 intake, so to be stealth looking we went that way. We kept the motor looking stock unless you know what you are looking at and spot the 243 heads. Even still have the Vortec cover on.
