so im scrapping my 5.3 build as i got a killer deal on a tall deck BBC...what can i say, a 520 with a turbo sounds cooler than a 325 with a turbo!


up for sale is a 80xxx mile short block 5.3 i bought from LKQ, has great crosshatch in the cylinders and turns over smoothly. when it had heads on it i ran compression test and it ranged from the 180s to 190s. comes with complete wiring harness and the accessory brackets/pushrods/rockers ect. 550 pickup only

one pair of 243 ZO6 heads. 23000 miles has been resurfaced .020 by G/G machine in tombal to put compression back up near stock compression of the 5.3 listed. comes with Z06(yellow) springs 450 plus shipping or pickup

shorty headers modified to be flipped and used in a turbo application 120 plus ship

2002 Z06 camshaft with 23000 miles on it 5308 part number on back 150 plus ship

ran stock pushrods with tr220 and my current z06 cam
Valve train was quiet no issues
