Default 5.3 Engine - Complete - Super Clean

Only $500 now!!!

For sale is a super clean GM 5.3L engine, just removed less than two weeks ago from my personal 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. The engine runs perfectly, and was only removed because I installed a larger engine. It has 78K miles on it. I've used nothing but synthetic oil in it since I bought it with 2x,000 miles on it. It makes 55 PSI of oil pressure at idle when hot, and increases with RPMs. I did a leak down test on it after removal. The rings held good pressure, but I found some valves leaking a little. Both heads were removed, all carbon was removed from the pistons, the heads were completely disassembled and cleaned, the valves were lapped, new valve stem seals were installed, and the engine was put back together with new head gaskets and new head bolts. The intake and throttle body were also cleaned. You won't find a cleaner used engine. This thing is turnkey and ready to go. The only things missing are a few sensors, dipstick and tube, and the little adapter plate just above the oil filter. All of these can be reused from your old engine. The engine is drained of all fluids. I don't have the ability to ship it, so needs to be a local sale.

Price drop to $500. $150 was spent in R&Ring the heads for gaskets, bolts, and seals.

Sunday bump. Someone buy this thing already, lol. I thought a clean engine like this would sell easier. Am I missing something here?
