I bought this a couple months back and have decided to go the 6.0l route instead.
Was told it was out of a base model 05 escalade with 90k on it.

This is tempting. I didnt know the 05 escalades even came with 5.3's. What are the head casting numbers?

 

I said the same thing, after doing alittle research there are a few base models that had them.

im right down the road in corpus and just ruined my 4.8, very interested, wish it were lower mileage... would you take 200? i could drive out there and pick it up. i wanted to go 6.0 but i need my truck back on the road quick.
