Default 2/4 Drop Wanted

Looking For A 2/4 Drop Kit For My 2007 Cc Classic Body Style. Prefer To Have Spindles Front Instead Of Coil Springs. Also Prefer Leafs In Rear. Anyone Know What Kit Is The Best? Also Interested If Someone Has One They Are Getting Rid Of.
Thanks

If your truck is a 4X4 you might want to look at Belltech 2 inch drop spindles for the front. If it is 2wd Belltech also has 2 inch drop front coil springs available at Stylinconcepts.com or other sport truck websites.

2WD or 4WD 1500 trucks the rear
suspension is the same setup(besides the height).
For the rear of the truck to achieve 4 inch drop, I would suggest Belltech 4 inch shackle and hanger kit. The factory leaf springs have the best ride quality and I don't suggest aftermarket ones as they are usually thinner and inferior quality.

I personally went with Belltech 2in spindles in front, 4 inch shackle/hanger kit rear on my 04 Z71 ext cab/short bed and it rides well. The only problem is with the drop spindles you have to use 17 inch or larger wheels on the truck.

My truck is 2wd, also has factory 20 inch wheels. The 4 inch rear drop with shakle and hangers instead of leafs, what does that entail installing? I know the factory ones are riveted on the crewcabs

It requires torching/drilling out the factory rivets on the suspension hanger on the front of the leaf spring (towards the cab) and replacing with a Belltech piece. This piece uses bolts through the frame where the rivets used to go. The back of the leaf spring just uses a taller hanger. 2 pieces each side, 4 total for the rear drop.

Last step is putting the pinion shims in the center of the leaf spring pack. Drive and retorque all bolts.

Also if you have a 2 piece drive shaft I recommend A Belltech carrier bearing adjustment kit to ensure proper driveline angle. If it's one piece your fine.

Requires about a good day to complete.

ohh and when I said above all suspensions are the same in the rear, I really meant trucks from 1999-2007 classic, including yours.

also recommend shock absorbers specifically made for lowered trucks, "drop shocks". You CAN get away with the stock ones though.

cant use hangers on a crew cab. the stock ones are welded on and the cab sits on top of them. belltech makes a flip kit with an adjustable rear hanger.
