08 5.3 LY5 Cam Heads Complete 800 miles
Well due to some financial troubles and some other reasons I have to sell the project Ive been working on for a while and pretty much just finished. The story on this motor is it was pulled about 2 yrs ago with 800 miles from an 08 Silverado to be replaced by a built 6.0, I was wanting to do a 6.0 build myself but because I could verify the mileage on it and he gave me a good price since I helped pull it I decided to buy it and build on it a little.
Mods include
Thunder racing cam kit TR 224/224 563/563 112lsa cam, comp 918 springs, chromoly 7.4 pushrods.
Thunder racing DOD Delete kit, LS7 lifters, lifter trays, and valley cover
The heads had a valve job and some bowl blending done by a local motor builder around here
Brand new pacesetter ceramic longtube headers
PTM 90mm cable throttle body.
All of these parts, minus the throttle body, have been installed but the motor has not been ran.
I was hoping to get mid to high 3xx rwhp with this setup which I think should be very doable considering the power these LY5's are making from the factory
The motor comes complete with every accessory minus the alternator.
I also have a wiring harness for the motor with all wiring from the motor back to the fuel pump. I also have two starters.
There are LS1 fans that havent been installed yet that I will throw in with the sale.
The only thing this motor needs is to have the front accessories put back on and it will be ready to go. I might do that in the next few days anyways.
Im really just trying to get what I have into the motor back out of it. Im willing to ship but the purhcaser must arrange that. I can put it on a pallet and strap it but thats about it.

The day I got the motor
Spray canned the block black and put the headers on for inspiration
Installed complete valvetrain and reassembled the motor
As the motor sits now, like I said all it needs is the front accessories and wiring put back on
I wish I wouldve taken more pictures of the motor durring dissassembly to show how clean this motor really was, but I was not planning on selling it at that time so I didnt think about it.

I put the accessories on the motor. The only thing this motor needs is the cam position sensor and alternator. And I will buy those if somebody puts money in my account lol.
New price 3000 will trade let me konw what you have, it doesnt have to be car related.

OK guys well I guess Im not getting any interest because of the price so I'll give yall my bottom dollar. This is what I have into the motor and really cant come off this price much at all. I will still ship but it will most likely be a few hundred dollars. Feel free to offer me anything including trades.
