This short block was in our race car, it blew a head gasket and I pulled it. Found some slight damage and decided against rebuilding it and just cut my losses. The engine just needs new pistons and rebalanced then it will be good to go. It only saw about 15 dyno pulls and three passes down the track before it blew. With the 317 heads and custom cam below it dynoed 530/570.
